Wayne Wurzer–co-owner of All That Dance and late husband of Maygan–held an appreciation for dancers who were committed to their craft. He valued being a contributing member of the team and he was continually impressed with the hard work demonstrated by Company dancers. Wayne died in December of 2012 after a two-year battle with cancer. In honor of him, a scholarship fund has been established. The Wayne Wurzer Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to help offset the costs of participating in Company for dancers in need. This is a merit based scholarship and dancers are judged on their application, essay regarding the importance of dance in their life, and teacher endorsements.

Below are the essays of the 2017 – 2018 Wayne Wurzer Scholarship Recipients.
